Millet

Millet is a grain crop from which such cereals as millet are obtained, which contains: 81% starch, 12-13% protein, 0.15% sugar, 3.5-4% fat, mineral salts, trace elements (iodine, zinc, chlorine, bromine), as well as B vitamins (riboflavin and thiamine).

There is also black millet, which is used only for the purpose of feeding birds. Starch and alcohol are obtained from millet grains. Millet is also a significant fodder crop, as its grain is actively used in poultry and pig breeding, and forage is not inferior to meadow hay in terms of fodder qualities.
